1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MaHoose ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MaHoose is a platform that allows users to create a personalised public profile page to showcase their collections, links, and ranked lists. The Service provides tools for organising and sharing content but does not produce, endorse, or verify any user-generated content.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content & Responsibility

You retain ownership of all content you upload, post, or share through MaHoose ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant MaHoose a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for all content you upload or share, including but not limited to images, text, links, embedded content, and any third-party material. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use and share all User Content.
• Your User Content does not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• Your User Content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable material.
• Any links or embedded content (including Instagram embeds) you share comply with the originating platform's terms of service.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to host or share content that:

• Is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
• Is sexually explicit, violent, or depicts the exploitation of minors.
• Constitutes harassment, hate speech, or threats towards any person or group.
• Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Contains malware, phishing links, or other harmful code.
• Impersonates another person or entity.

MaHoose reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

6. Third-Party Content & Embeds

The Service may allow you to embed or link to content from third-party platforms (e.g. Instagram, YouTube). MaHoose does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content. Your use of third-party embeds is subject to the respective platform's terms of service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share or embed any third-party content.

7. DMCA & Copyright Claims

If you believe content on MaHoose infringes your copyright, please contact us at hello@mahoose.com with a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the infringing material, and your contact information. We will review and respond to valid takedown requests in accordance with applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

MaHoose is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaHoose shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

MaHoose is not responsible for any content uploaded by users, any third-party content linked or embedded through the Service, or any damages resulting from your reliance on User Content.

9. Account Tiers & Payments

MaHoose offers free and paid (Pro) account tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed as described at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. MaHoose may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your User Content may be deleted.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
